After a disastrous week, the leaders Kia Tigers bounced back in two days to extend their lead in the standings.

In the eighth, Seo Gun-chang doubled and Park Chan-ho tripled to make it 6-4.

Samsung was unable to get past Kia bullpen Jeon Sang-hyun with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth and fell to its knees.

The Doosan Bears came from behind to beat the Lotte Giants 13-8 in a wild game at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.
