The quarterfinals of the Copa America 2024 have been finalized. Favorites Brazil and Uruguay will meet in the quarterfinals.

Brazil drew 1-1 with Colombia in the final Group D match of the Copa America 2024 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, USA, on Wednesday (June 3).

After taking the lead in the 12th minute on a picturesque free-kick by Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Brazil had to settle for a draw after Daniel Muñoz (Crystal Palace) equalized in first-half stoppage time.

The result means Colombia will advance to the quarterfinals as Group D's top seed. With two wins and a draw, Colombia (7 points) pushed Brazil (1 win, 2 draws, 5 points) 고스톱 온라인  to second place in the group.

As the runner-up, Brazil will face Group C's top team, Uruguay, in the semifinals.

Uruguay won all three of their group games, scoring nine goals and conceding just one.

In the previously determined quarterfinal matchup, Group A winner Argentina (No. 1) will face Group B runner-up Ecuador (No. 30).

Canada (No. 48), coached by Jesse Marsh, who has been heavily touted as a possible candidate to manage the South Korean national team, finished second in Group A and will face No. 1 Venezuela (No. 54) in the quarterfinals.

While the Copa América is traditionally a showcase for the best of South America, this year's tournament will be a celebration of the entire continent, with 10 South American nations and six North and Central American nations participating.

The first and second-place finishers in each of the four groups advance to the quarterfinals, where they will compete for the title in a single-elimination tournament.
